This year's DinoAdventures are completely dominated by a volcanic eruption. During the autumn holidays, the visitor experiences this exciting adventure program that revolves around dinosaurs. “In our Dinopark you experience adventures from prehistoric times, but this year the theme is more topical than ever. The volcano on La Palma keeps people busy, but volcanic eruptions also had a major impact in the time of the dinosaurs," explains project leader Hylke.

“During the Adventures we make a link between the past, the present and the future. The visitor discovers what extreme natural phenomena do to our living environment. This year everyone is invited to visit the dinosaurs with the Dinoranger. But… a volcano is about to erupt and that also makes the dinosaurs rambunctious,” explains project leader Hylke Steggerda. “What follows is an unforgettable adventure through the forest, swamp a cave. The visitor makes his way past debris and glowing lava to the safe rooms.”

After a year of absence, the DinoAdventures will take place again throughout the autumn holidays (16 to 31 October) in the Dinopark of DierenPark Amersfoort. The program is free to visit if you have an entrance ticket and time slot for our park. As the Adventures can be exciting and physically challenging, a minimum age of five years is advised. Early bird tickets can be booked at a reduced rate via the website of DierenPark Amersfoort.
